Time and space do intertwine
In Steampunk Worlds its quite sublime
The Aethernet our transit stream to
Worlds unknown, all run by sssssteam….

Machines, ahhhhh, they do get the job done, don’t they!

Massive shovels scoop the ground
Digging holes in which to lay foundations strong
For structures tall, benefiting one and all.

Skyscrapers rise a tribute to Steampowered Lords
And Ladies who, with corsets tight, and proper bustle
Twixt the scrapers quickly hustle…
Shopping, dining, meeting with their friends
Chatting, cat-ing, they try to make amends for
Indiscretions oh, so slight, they chat away on thru the night

Its 4 0’clock, its time for tea…

Sit round a table, time for board meetings.
Aha, yes, power!
Cigar smoke curls into the ceiling
Bandy this and bandy that, all the Lords do share the feeling

It WILL be sublime to rule the WORLD , aha, this VERY DAY!

Meanwhile, on the other side of the city…

Ladies finished drinking tea
No more crumpets, no more scones,
Hats in place, time to go and meet the Lords
And return to our stately homes… hummmmm.

It’s a wonderful time and a wonderful age
To be alive don’t you think?
